Bad Body Odor in the Grocery Store

I went to the grocery store today (Thursday, May 28, 2009) and stood in line to check out my groceries. As I stood there in front of me was a Latino man wearing a white T-shit and black shorts and behind me was a very overweight obese white man wearing a dark khaki shirt and short carrying a big duffle bag.

There was a very bad odor that came out of nowhere, and it made me want to vomit. The cashier was cashing out the Latino man’s groceries, and I wondered how come the cashier did not give the impression that he smelled that bad funk.

The smell did not manifest right away either; I had been in line for about two minutes before it came. So it more than likely was not the Latino man in front of men but the white guy behind me or someone else.

When the Latino guy left I noticed then the clerk started brushing his nose this means that the smell was coming either from behind me which would me the white guy or from another customer in the next line over.

The smell became even more pronounced as I stood there in line. I left out and went to put my basket back in the basket rack. When I walked past the tables where people sit to eat I noticed the white guy who had stood behind me.

He looked as though he was semi homeless. He was sitting at the table listening to his ipod or MP3 player. His appearance was that of a man who was semi homeless, maybe he had a place to stay I don’t know.

I tell you I wonder who was it that had that bad smell and hoped the clerk did not think it was me.
